I really appreciate the flexibility that working from home offers. Especially because I have a child, it gives me more time to dedicate to her and the many assignments she is given. Knowing that I can work late shifts or even on weekends to get more out of my personal life is an added bonus. Overall the experience is great and with the work/life balance I now have, I have no plans to return to working from an office.

JWO gives me the opportunity to “work from anywhere”. I work a flexible position where I get to do more. I give more of myself to my pursuits, save more and spend more time with my family.

I had a general idea of what remote work would entail but experiencing it opened my eyes to the limitless possibilities I was missing out on. Since transitioning to working remotely, I now have a better work-life balance, a more attractive compensation package, and the ability to make a difference from my home. Working remotely has truly been the gift of this decade and is the way forward for Jamaica.

Living outside of the big cities like Montego Bay and Kingston where most job opportunities are, I’ve always had to worry about travel expenses and high rent when thinking about finding a good job. But thanks to JWO, that’s no longer a concern. I earn a good salary from the four walls of my room.
